Today I bought a used Jimmy (1997) for my son. The brake lights do not work and of course it was "As Is" and the guy will more than likely not help in any way. My fault totally for not checking the lights before we drove away. I was more concerned with the motor, silly me:o. Anyway, I checked the fuse box that is inside the car but I am having trouble locating the one under the hood. The blinkers work on both sides and both bulbs on each side light up for both blinking and driving lights. The reverse lights come on as well as the brake light that is above the hatchback. However, the brake lights just do not come on at all.

Any help would be appreciated, Thanks!

97 Jimmy, Sonoma, Blazer and S10 only have fuse box a the end of dash on the driver's side. It wan't untill 98 that you have a fuse box under the hood.

Thanks for the fuse box help, all fuses are good. Lights still do not work!

Thanks. I wasn't sure about that. That's why I said '98. New there was a change in one of those years.
