Is my 1988 Sierra a full-size truck?

I apologize for asking such a dumb question, but I don't know much about truck sizes, thus my question as follows:

I bought a 1988 GMC sierra K-1500 1/2 ton pickup truck a few weeks ago (you can see pictures of it at the "post pictures of your truck" thread). Well, I was thinking of buying a Kodiak Canvas tent. According to the Kodiak brochures, the tent fits a full-size truck with a bed length of 5' though 6-1/2'. The truck has a regular cab (just a bench seat without much room behind it).

The bed on this truck is long enough at 6'5" with the tailgate close, but it's only 4' wide. I called a local dealer to ask if my truck is a full-size one despite the narrow bed, and he said that it's a full size truck, but I would like to ask the experts in this forum before I order a relative expensive tent.

My most sincere thanks in advance.

Ray

Yes, its a full size truck.

Trucks that are not are; Chevrolet Colorado, Ford Ranger, Toyota Tacoma, GMC Canyon

Update relating to the Kodiak Canvas Truck tents.

While these tents are advertised by truck sizes, in this case to fit a "full-size truck," the tent is too wide if the truck is a step-side like mine. My truck's bed is only 4' wide, which is too narrow for the tent's frame. If the fender wells would be inside the bed, then the bed would have to be wider and the tent would work. So, if you are thinking of buying such a tent, take my advise into consideration.
