so now i have a issue where you'll be driving and a huge puff of smoke just comes out from behind the car for a min then stops, it smells like tranny fluid but not positive what it could be, just started happening, checked all fluids all were to spec, sometimes it happens quite a bit sometimes it doesnt happen for awhile

anyone? i replace the pcv valve but the elbow was shot so i made a piece of hose for it but it doesnt seat it well an always looks wet around it

Your 4wd vacuum switch at your transfer case may have gone bad and transmission fluid working its way through your vacuum lines in to your intake.

Check your vacuum lines for any signs of transmission oil and replace the vacuum switch if there are signs of transmission oil throughout your vacuum lines.

its weird cause ill get underneath and check it out and there's fluid all along the undercarrige on the passenger side, you can smell it when it happens then u see the smoke show, its one of those ghost problems, i think its oil now..... again ghost problem
