Hello! I think I found what I need but I was hoping someone could shed some insight before i purchased. I have a 2000 GMC jimmy in which I am trying to swap the rear end on. I bought the rear end off a 1998 Jimmy not knowing there was a lenght difference in the axel. So now I have a axel that is 3 inches shorter (measured caliper to caliper) and it resulted in my wheels hitting the leaf springs. So all I really need is for the wheels to fit appropriately. I was advised to purchase spacers to make up for that space instead of dumping more money on another rear end. So I guess my question is if the 5x120.7 (5x4.75) - 2" that I have found online @ Motorcitybolton.com would be appropriate to fix my issue? I know it would result in an extra inch of space but that will not push the wheels out of the wells. I figured more space was better than none.
I thank you in advance, I really hope you can shed some light on this because I want to buy some spacers and get my truck driving again!
