2009 rear end shudder

I have an intermittent problem with my 2009 Sierra 4x4 that the dealer can't seem to figure out. When moving after being parked or after stopping or slowing down if feels like my abs engages in the reared only causing a shudder. I have to goose the gas to break free... Any thoughts?

I would like to apologize for the issues that you are experiencing with your vehicle. I would recommend that you take it into your dealer and have them look into this for you. I have already been there three times. Unfortunately the problem is intermittent so they keep telling me they can't find a problem. When I brought it by on one the days that the problem was more pronounced the tech wasn't available to look at it so I'm adding this to my list of problems they won't fix.

Food for thought, it almost sounds like your having transmission issues with the TCC (Torque Converter Clutch). TCC solenoid blockage (easy fix in pan) or the TCC apply solenoid circuit shorted to ground.

Most transmission shop can check this free of charge for you.
