I have an '07 Sierra 1500 5.3L. I am pulling my hair out over this electrical problem. About 1 1/2 months ago I went to remote start my truck, and nothing happened. When I turned the ignition over there was nothing, just like someone had hijacked the battery. I replaced the battery, only for the problem to arise again. I then replaced the alternator. The problem went away for 1 month, then driving down the freeway the power locks engaged and disengaged almost a dozen times. When I turned the vehicle off it would not turn over, again no power at all. The truck has just spent several days in the shop, they found no fault codes, nothing drawing from the alternator or battery. All connections, cables, and fuses are in good working order. Looking for any help or advice!

Sounds like your remote starter could be drawing power... is it aftermarket and does it have an alarm built into it? If so I would take it to who installed it and get them to look at it. My starter/alarm on my '05 did that constantly til I got fed up and had it removed.
It is the factory remote start, and it does have the alarm built in. The remote start is an awesome feature, I'd hate to see it go. However, if it solves the the problem then it has to go. I will definitively look into this. Thank you for the help Heard!
