Just bought a 2012 Acadia SLT1; passenger seat does not have electric tilt... it has the forward and back slide and the seat back will lay back but the seat itself is not tilt adjustable.... as far as I can tell... the drivers seat has an electric tilt but not so on the passengers side. Is it possible to add this or maybe get the dealership to tilt it a bit... my wife wanted to have it adjusted if possible... I am sure replacing it with a different seat that has all the electrical adjustments would be rather expensive.... so, any ideas here???

Check again it should have at least a manual tilt, the same lever that you would use to lay it back flat. You would only pull up slightly on the lever and let the seat back recline to where the passenger desires.

Well, the 'back' is adjustable but the 'seat' itself will not 'tilt'... it slides back and forth and the back, as said, will go back but no adjustment that I can see on the 'seat' part... I think I have a local fella that may be able to put some shims under the front bolts that may raise the front of the seat... that seems to be the only way to raise the front since no adjustment is available. Can't figure why they didn't allow for this adjustment on the passenger seat since it is available on the drivers seat, curious... ????

Resolved although not to my satisfaction... GM and the dealer said nothing can be done... seat does not have that adjustment either electrically or manually... so that's the end of that unless I want to spend 2k replacing the seat... guess I'll just get a wedge seat at Target or where ever.

I believe that the SLT2 has the tilting seat. Not sure if it is manual or electric. You get a lot of other features with the SLT2 versus the SLT1. Worth the extra few dollars, IMHO
