oil guage maxed out 89 gmc sierra k1500

All of the guages work in the cluster except for the oil pressure. It always stays at Max with or without the key on. All fuses are good. Can someone help me troubleshoot? Thank

Good chances are that the ire leads to your oil sending unit is grounding out or your oil sending unit has gone bad an will need to be replaced.
