I have a '97 suburban. Just recently been hearing rattling when I accelerate. Its somewhere in the front half. And after about 15-25min. it seems to stop. Any ideas on what it could be???

I have a '97 suburban. Just recently been hearing rattling when I accelerate. Its somewhere in the front half. And after about 15-25min. it seems to stop. Any ideas on what it could be???

The timing chain sounds like its stretch and will need to be replaced. Its just normal wear and tear maintenance from a old engine. This would be a good time to also replace the water pump since it needs to be removed to get to the timing chain and gears.
