Def problem

We have a 2011 SIERRA DENALI 3500, and we are having so many problems with the DEF (Diesel exhaust fluid) it has been in the shop at least 4 times for the same related problems. Its in the shop now!!

Looking for some HELP this is getting old.

We picked up our truck today and service tec man said it was the DEF injector was bad. Now we are good again, but this is the second time.

Hi Jennifer.....we mentioned that we have a 2011 GMC Sierra Denali 3500. Our first problem we had, it showed check engine light,and they had to replace new sensors, the next time we had a problem, they replaced the DEF injector and a sensor. This time another DEF injector, all on a truck with only 16,000 miles?? That's not good!!! It seems it's in the shop allot!! Please let us know if you can help us.......Thanks!

Def

Well we are back on the road after another 2 days in the shop, ( CAVENDER GMC ) in San Antonio TX 1604 west loop. They said it was the DEF pump ( in the tank ) , they replaced the pump & tank , to get us back on the road.
Today we pulled north against the wind, for 200 miles and it ran great, we hope it is fixed now. Heading for Nebraska.
