96 jimmy no start. emergency please help

I own a 96 jimmy 4x4 auto trans 4.3l engine I have been having issues with it not starting i noticed it kept popping the crank fuse. I know this is stupid but to see if I could get it to start I put a 15 amp fuse in place of the 10. That worked for a day but then i parked it and it wouldent start so I rocked it back and forth while turning it over and it started from that point it would start regulary and if I rocked it but now it won't do that anymore the fuel pump comes on but the starter while not even try to engage it will not even start in neutral it might be the neutral safety switch but I don't know. Any help or advice would be very helpful

Check the wire leads and harness to your starter. Could be a short to a bad ground.

Start with that and keep us posted.

I got it narrowed down I have to adjust the neutral safety switch anyone know how to do this or point me in the right direction.

Hayne's manual has step by step .

It says you need to get an " alignment tool " ( available at most part stores )
