I have a 2002 GMC sierra 1500 it has the 4.8L motor and it is 4wd, i am looking for a chip or programmer that will boost power as well as MPG if i want it to. i am going to add cold air intake at the same time as the chip. any suggestions would be helpful

You can buy a programmer like JET product and change the power options on how you like the way your engine performs. The other way you can do this is to find a speed shop that cna Dyno tune your engine and drive-train the way you like it to run, but every time you want to change the performance of your Sierra. You'll have to go back and have them dyno tune it again. I advantage to dyno tuning is that it's a custom program to the way you want your Sierra to perform as to the preset programs on the after market programmers like JET and Hypertech.
