Hi fam,

I don't know what it's called, but the outer most light on the passenger side of my headlight isn't working. I've tried Googling for a headlight diagram or assembly but haven't found any that identifies what this light is called. Since it's the outer most light I guessed maybe it was called a halo, but apparently one of the inner light rings is named a halo? Anyway, hoping somebody can tell me what this is called, and how difficult it would be to replace it? Below is a link to what I'm trying to describe :)

Looks to me like what would be the daytime running light LED's. My guess (and only a guess) is that it's not a readily user replaced part.

Thanks for the feedback, and I think you are correct. Googling for "daytime running light leds" most part stores have that listed as "not a serviceable part" or something to that effect. A friend thought it curious thought that all the LEDs would burn out at the same time and wondered if it could be a fuse. A replaced the fuse for "DRL" and it did not help. I've also seen that apparently there are issues with the headlights melting the wiring or something, so I wonder if that could be the problem...

Sorry I can't be of more help. I do know that to disable my DRL's on my 2012 Sierra (I know, totally different set up) I would have to remove two fuses / relays, so there might be more than one fuse / relay that is affecting it. Good luck.
