We have 2022 trail boss and it is burning oil, last time I brought it in they added 1.5 litres after travelling 5000km, they tell me this is normal but we have never heard of it before. We always understood if your vehicle is burning oil there is a problem
Any expert needs more information so can't you see that ? How many miles on this beast Have you run a compression test have you run a blow test?
I've done long-term service on 100 cars so I'll tell you right now You have over hundred thousand miles You need to put in the 20, 50 weight oil And Pay an extra $2 for the high mileage Oil .. SAE. additiveTest show that this will cut down on combustion chamber contaminants And just to be an all around in valuable help for the extra $2Possibly $4Right now, on amazon Castor oil, is selling stuff for I think it's $25 for 4 quarts.
Also you MUST put a catch can on this vehicle. There is all kinds of crap. acid , oil , water vapor, carbon going into your intake.. I guess I should tell you about spark plugs Get the ones with ele trode points they work a little bit better) Which of course Which of course causes misfire which of course makes more contaminants .. More about plugs , Don't waste your time on $1,5, $20 plugs, These are Designed for maybe 70 80,000 miles Your porcelain will be all gooed up by then .Use Cheaper pointed plugs, Change them like a old days 20,000 miles older if dirty

It's strange, some of the new cars, Especially the turbo cars are coming out with catch cans from the factory Of course they're not as good as the ones you can make yourself., Not With a drain because that would actually be illegal.
