Every morning, my 2001 Jimmy will crank and crank and crank. Have to keep turning key off and cranking again. Can take up to 30 times to get it to start. The pressure from the fuel pump is normal. When it does finally start, there is much water coming from the tail pipe and out of some small leak in the muffler. Once it starts in the morning, have no problems (or very little) starting the rest of the day. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

do you have the right octaine in the tank.89 is what it should be. also check the air filter .

I think you have a bad fuel pump. Have you tested your fuel pressure at the fuel rail. Time will tell, because it will only get worse if it is the fuel pump or FPR.
