Hey all

I find it is better to ask ppl who know more aobut these cars then i do. Ive been searching for a while know trying to find some aftermarket foglights for my 02 sonoma. I want to put them in the 2 lower vents on the bottom of the front bumper and is wondering if anyone knows where i might be able to find them if they even make them. if not then it isnt a big deal was just wondering wanted to get rid of the vent look.

My take is that the vents are there to assist airflow around the front brakes, who knows?, they may be there to save on plastic costs.

I've seen on ebay the headlight ass'y with fogs built in, they're nice.

Have you thought about color-matching some screen over the openings?

Hey Tom, I have been thinking about doing the same and I just googled "fog lights for 1999 sonoma" (being that I have a 99) and there were a a bunch of online sites that sell fog lights to fit. I did run into the trouble of alot of the light kits being off-road ones that you mount on the roof or what not.

I'm not sure if there is better language that will narrow it down to only the vent kind... Or maybe you can try a chain store like Car Toys or Autozone, along those lines, if you need something local. But I like the no-pressure browsing of a website as opposed to possibly having someone trying to push you into a sale.

Just my thoughts.

Thanks alot guys honestly i thought it through there isnt a point in cutting the plastic and it probably does bring good air flow considering it gets hot under there. I have decided since i have 6 k hids il jsut swap the 9005 bulbs with some pure yellow halgoens since my hids are stronger then my high beams...
