I’ll try to make this brief. My family wagon had its motor and transmission rebuilt about 1.5 years ago. It’s been parked and really not driven much. It’s Now showing three codes P0171, C0040 & C0455. Before I had it scanned the exhaust manifold started ticking out of the clear blue. I continued to drive it I was told that it wouldn’t hurt anything if I continued to drive it. I think I drive it for about two months. I didn’t drive it daily but I didn’t drive it a few times during the week and out of town. In the last two weeks I’ve noticed that it started stalling when I made a right turn. The engine, ABS and traction control lights were on. I had the exhaust manifold gasket repaired and then had it scanned to get the above codes. While digging around in the motor I noticed the person who rebuilt the motor broke several things and did not reconnect some wires! I’ve already taken the vehicle back to the repair shop the times for him to fix his mess ups.I don’t want to take it back to him anymore. There is a black wire which is sticking out of a wire harness which is located near or being the power steering pump. I can’t find where that wire connects. Also I believe it’s an vacuum hose which the plastic housing that the hose connects too. Someone’s broke it saved stuffed a tube in there which has come out, it’s not a secure fit. I believe that may be causing some of these problems with at least one of me calls that I received. My question is does anyone have an idea where the black wire connects to and I need an idea on replacing the housing or somehow getting that vacuum hose back in to the connector.
