So, I own a standard 05 Envoy, and I use it for work. The job I'm currently on has me driving at 70 mph uphill. I bring the envoy to 65 and activate cruise control. Once it starts to climb, the rpms jump to 4500 and I can hear the engine screaming. Am I pushing the truck too far? Or does cruise control know what's best? Also, I am not towing anything.
