05 Sierra 'service 4wd' indictor

just came on in my new to me truck. just lights up in the odometer readout screen. havne't pulled codes yet. but will tomorrow. i googled it and found it could be the motor or relay or something? don't know. when the light was on the truck was in 2wd. i didn't try to put it in 4wd. i turned the truck off and the indicator went away, and truck shifted into 4wd. (lights changed at least)

Please stop posting the same posts telling people to go to the dealer!!

We all know if it's not warranty then stay away from the dealer.
I worked for the GM dealer for many years and left when they gave us a new set of gide lines. I would not do what they asked me to do to people.

Now i have my own shop and treat people the way they should be treated. Fair and honest.

While I don’t know the timeframe that you worked for a GM dealership, I can state that since the bankruptcy GM has focused on improving the dealership service experience. As part of this we created the Vice President of Customer Experience position and made major changes on internal processes, as well as the launching of my own department.

o sorry .................... i bet it's like going on vacation now lol
Listen my tk goes to Banks chev for warranty and thinks are still the same. They just want your money!!!!

Also only 1 out of three techs know anything! the others are well we won't say!!
