So, I'm looking at swapping from 3.73s to 4.10s in my 2005 Yukon XL 2500 4x4. Mostly for better towing. I currently tow a 27ft Coleman lantern that weighs around 7000 loaded, plus the family, wood, genny, etc in the vehicle. Has anyone else done this already? Are the 4.10s worth the cost? Will I see that much of an improvement while towing? And how much of a negative effect will it have on my non-tow driving mpg? Thanks in advance!
