Hello All

So my yukon decides to acted up on me once my warranty ends  a few months ago. I'm located in Socal and I notice the passenger side power door locks doesnt work when the weather gets warmer. Now it doesnt even work at all. Also my passenger side mirror went out and doest adjust when wanted.
Is this a common issue or just my luck this is a first car I have own and dont know where I can get the parts. I purachase this car new from the dealer btw. I would love to stay away from the dealer since they want to charge an arm and a leg. Please assist on these issue?

Could just be a breaker type fuse in th box under the hood

Most of the time when the door lock switch does not work from one switch but woks with the other. Its the switch it self, you can try spraying the switch with electrical contact cleaner and if it's just dirt within the contacts of the switch. It should start working again.

If it doesn't work, then the switch it self needs to be replaced. But if you can not control the lock from the drivers switch also, then its a good chance that its your power door lock actuator that has gone bad and needs to be replaced.

As for the mirror, most likely its going to be the electrical motor in the mirror it self. The motor that adjust the mirrors are not used enough and they seize up after time of not being used. If your lucky, it may just be a corroded wire at the mirror it self. But start with the simple and check al your fusses. :D

Keep us posted and good luck
