Mine specifically is a 1984 GMC Jimmy Sierra Classic, it is my current understanding that as far as the doors goes, 1973-1991 are the same...
Both my doors appear to be out of adjustment the same way... they are both hanging low in the back on the latch/handle end of the doors... the latches look in good shape, the strikers clearly need to be replaced; and there appears to be zero play in the hinges themselves, and in the manuals and parts diagrams I cannot see anything resembling shims or some other way to adjust the doors... the strikers themselves are not causing the misalignment even though they need to be replaced...
So my question is has anybody run into this scenario and what if anything were you able to do about it?
