Hi all, I'm pumping some new life, new fuel tank, sending unit, Holley TBI, coil, wires & plugs, power window motors (those are fun to install) into my old Jimmy that has been sitting in my driveway for more years than I care to admit. Anyways, as I was installing the drivers-side power window motor and had the regulator out on the bench I noticed that the 3 nylon rollers would'nt turn or roll. They should spin, right? Thats my question. I didn't pay attention to the rollers when I replaced the passenger-side motor. And it works fine. Because even if I try to hand turn these rollers they won't budge very much. So my dilemma is do I install the regulator anyways and slather the rollers & channels with lithium grease or should I order up some new rollers, cuz, I don't EVEN want to have to tear back into the door again to remove the regulator till my motors burn out! I think I'd rather have a root-canal than to have to take the regulator out again! I'm thinking they should roll so as not to overwork the motor. Any input on this would very much appreciated!!
