1989 sierra transmission

hi everyone, i was just wondering what manual transmissions i can use for my sierra. once my current one dies i'd like to swap in a 5 speed. i have read and heard that the nv4500 is a great choice, but its pretty expensive.

what others (if any) would be a good choice?
