1993 GMC Sonoma

I'm not sure where to start. My GMC has been running really great lately. I just had to put a new starter in it, that seemed to work great, starts right up. It's been about 3 weeks since the new starter was put in. This morning, I got in, started right up - no problem.

Today, after work, get in, it will not start. It's kicking over but, nothing. It's not kicking out any trouble codes - thinking it could be a vapor lock?

Where do I start? I'll go back to work later when its cooler, and I'm betting myself it will start......

Start with the simple and check to see if the fuel pump is working and then trying spraying starter fluid in to the intake. If the engine starts and run, replace the fuel filer first and inspect the ground wire to make sure the fuel pump is getting 12 Volts with a good ground.

If you can get a hold of a fuel pressure gauge, check your fuel pressure at the shredder valve. You should have 62-65 PSI to have the injectors work to start the engine and drop about 5 PSI when the engine is running. If you have less then 62 PSI, you are going to have starting issues and god chance your going to need to replace your fuel pump.
