ok, i have a 1994 gmc jimmy auto tranny. when i come to a stop with the car in drive there is a vibration, i dont feel it when i am moving only when its in drive and im stoped. i have accually moved it to neutral, while stopped, and the vibration goes away, then i put it back in drive and it comes back so i know its got to do with the transmission. whats going on this is driving me nuts!!!!

Common for the 94 Vortec's EGR valve to get gummed up with carbon. Remove the EGR and clean it with Carburetor cleaner and also treat the engine with http://www.seafoamsales.com/ to clean your upper intake platinum, don't forget to clean your throttle body with throttle body cleaner also.
Good luck and keep us posted, if the issue is still there then it's time for a tune up.
