1995 gmc sierra wont shift into park?

i have a 1995 gmc sierra z71, i can only shift it into park if i crawl under the truck and shift it manulally, when i get in the truck and shift it out of part it is very loose and it will not go back into part plus shifting into reverse may take a while

Your shift linkages needs to be addressed. If your familiar with the linkages, take your Sierra to a transmission shop and have them service the transmission if it's time. I am sure they will tighten up your linkages with no extra cost since there going to have to unbolt it to drop the transmission pan to replace the transmission filter.
