1995 Jimmy Driver Side Mirror Fell Off, Need Quick Fix, Any Advice?

Driver Side Mirror fell off our GMC Jimmy, its a 95... I was driving down the highway at the time when it came off, I pulled over right away, so I did not lose it, it was hanging by the wire...Short of buying a new manual one for $50 or power one for $70, no one seems to wanna sell me just the screws to remount it...

Is there any quick way I can remount it, I really don't care whether it's very sticky double sided tape to super super sticky glue, any of ya'll have any ideas? I'd appreciate it so much, thanks

Replaced the mirrors on my 97 and kept the old ones.
The 3 bolts are like the studs in a manifold ,very course threads going into the mirror
and fine threads for mounting to the door frame.

Let me ask some questions as I am curious as to how it could have fallen off .
Are there any bolts sticking out of the door frame ? if yes then the mirror might be
stripped out ,maybe J.B weld or bondo could fix that ? If the bolts are still on the mirror then the nuts must have vibrated off and have fallen into the door frame.

Getting the door trim off to access the mirrors is easy.but even if you bought new mirrors you might still need the nuts ( not the bolts ) as the ones I got didn't come with them.
Post back with what you have and any info you might need .

It has been loose for a little while before this, but didn't show any signs of falling off.. It's dark and snowing out right now, I'll try to post pictures and look at more in the morning and reply back.. I appreciate the information very much ferretx9 thank you

if you cant get to a parts store or your local home depot lowes etc to grab bolts go grab some 3m super sticky6 double sided tape its the same tack as they use to adhere some body panels and mouldings it will hold until you replace the bolts the 3m stuff usually has the red plastic protector over the adhesive sides use this stuff as its hard to come off.
