1996 GMC 1500 Surburban 4x4 350 Vortex

Anyways let`s give this place a try. I am a new owner of an 1996 GMC 1500 Surburban 4x4 with a 350 Vortex engine. Wasout driving the other evening listening to the radio system which is factory made with AM-FM Stereo, CD Player and as well as Cassetten Deck with some sortof Auto Theft Deterrent. Anyways, was listening to the radio, when all of a sudden for the second time over, the radio has quit out of the blue. Have checked all fuses and everything appears to be new. There is also a mute button from the looksof things thatmutesout entire system how can I get my radio back with sound. There is power going to the Stereo, as I can see thelights on the front of it powered up along with the Clock Display. Any help would greatly be appreciatedto fix this..
