Hello,
I have a GMC Jimmy '97 with 167k Miles on it, for the past few weeks my suv would start really rough, not too rough on cold start. I just had spark and wire replaced few months back. When I turn the key, the lights does come on and the RPM needle would dance around until the engine turns over. It wouldn't start three times for a minute or two then, I would again have to start it and the engine turns over. So, now this morning, it will not start-- ever and I am not sure if it is the starter. I cannot hear anything because of my hearing impairment. So, I would like to try and fix this myself and hoping to get some ideas what the problem might be.

I had someone to turn the ignition, I can feel the fuel pump making some noises, checked the carb area and can feel clicking.
