I'm new to this forum and want to help my friends with a 97 1500 conversion van with a 5.7 motor. It seems from their descriptions to be misfiring or having injection issues that are not consistent.
Does anyone here have a good source for an in-depth repair manual I can use to trouble shoot the fuel/ignition system?
They've already checked the plugs, cap, and rotor. They've had the fuel pump and filter replaced. I want to help narrow this down without having to spend a lot of $ just chasing around by replacing parts. They said they were getting a #3 or #6cylinder misfire indication.
