1997 Sierra Fuel Pump Location?

I am still having some starting issues with my Sierra, and after replacing the plugs, wires, cap & rotor, am thinking I might need to at least check out the connections to my fuel pump.

Can someone clue me in to where the pump is on this truck? Is it in the gas tank? or mounted somewhere else?

In the tank, has to come off to replace.

Tip-DO NOT buy on low price. Lots of cheap imported fuel pumps made on the cheap. Many have a very high failure rate or don't last very long. If you need a pump, find a GM brand or AC Delco. Just about every other one you will find comes from China.

no there pumps come form canada or mexico lol
Also to replace pump i do NOT remove the gas tank. I tip the bed to the pass side of the tk. simple really less than a hour total job.
