My Sonoma completely died on me. There is no electrical as if it had a dead battery. I charged the battery and checked all the fuses. None were blown.
alternator was changed six months ago. There is no power to anything.

I'm gonna poke around and see if there are any wires grounding out.

Help, has any body experience something like this or maybe knows what it could be.

thank you in advance for your help.

Update

So found out the blue fusible link right after the junction point on the alternator was blown.

replaced that.

Then when i went to hook up the battery tons of sparks and blew the fusible link that is right off the battery. almost as if there was a short to ground.

disconnected the starter positive starter cable and replaced the fusible link that blew.
then connected the battery back up no more sparks all was good.

so at this time power to everything accept the starter is still disconnected.

could the starter have some internal ground problem?
I just find this odd.

i guess ill be pulling the starter and have it tested at a parts store.
