1998-2004 Jimmy/Blazer Overhead Console

Hello everyone - I am seeking some additional information on the short version of the overhead console that was installed in 1998-2004 Jimmy and Blazers.

I am installing this unit on a 70's muscle car and have obtained the temperature sensor, compass, and mounting brackets. However, I am now curious about whether or not I can obtain the data needed for the other readings on the display. I have collected some information, but am seeking any other information that might be out there, including additional diagrams, etc.

The OH Console unit provides the following information:
1. Compass and External Temperature
2. Average Economy (ie, average MPG)
3. Instant Economy (current MPG)
4. Range (ie, I think this is how far can you go based on #2 and the amount of gas remaining in the tank, but Im not sure. It could be trip distance on current tank of gas?)
5. Fuel used (in Gallons)
6. Average speed

Can anyone provide some additional information about the sensor(s) that provide the information for items 2-6?

1. Requires Compass and Temp Sensor - I have these
2. Possibly an internal calculation of #4 and 5
3. Possibly an internal calculation of #4 and 5
4. Probably requires an Odometer-related sensor that I dont have (yet)
5. Probably requires an Fuel-related sensor that I dont have (yet)
6. Probably requires an Speedometer-related sensor that I dont have (yet). This could be a calculation.
