I have been getting a check engine light and it is telling me there is something wrong with the transmission. A GM mechanic told me this. I had some work done by a local small shop (not a GM shop) and he told me he reset the check engine light.
now several things don't work right. I no longer can turn the engine off and have the 5 minutes of the radio playing. when I turn the engine off the key alarm comes on and stays on even if I haven't opened the door.
How can I correct this?
