1999 gmc jimmy hard to start in the morning any help?

well my jimmy seems to have a hard time to start in the morning or when it just sits for a while
i have changed battery, distriputator cap and rotor, crankshaft sensor, tune up, fuel filter, idel air control valve, starter, oil pressure switch, air charge temp sensor and i think thats it but can anyone help me out here!!!

Sounds like your loosing your prim to your fuel pressure or your engine is flooded from a leaky fuel pressure regulator. A bad fuel pressure regulator will leak gas in to your upper intake manifold causing your engine to flood giving you a hard engine start. You can check this by placing a fuel pressure gauge on the shredder valve and seeing what the fuel pressure is with the engine not running (62-65 PSI)

When you turn the ignition switch off, keep an eye on the fuel pressure gauge and if the pressure drops fast, then you have a leaky fuel pressure regulator and will need to be replaced. The fuel pressure regulator is a part of your SCFI system, but it is serviceable so you don't have the replace the whole unit, just the regulator. ;)
