1999 sierra 2500

Hi there new to the forums, I'm thinking on getting a truck as a second vehicle and to haul stuff around when there is the need for it, I know a guy that has a 1999 gmc sierra 2500 extended cab for sale.
pros :
price is 2500$
Runs and drives.

Cons:
300,000 miles on the odometer
check engine light on
brake light on
oil pressure gauge drops to the middle then goes up
fuel gauge sporadically works
ac lines are cold compressor is working but no air coming from vents,guys says it was working well, same with heater no air coming from vents...a fuse from the blower maybe?
front seat need to be replaced
cracked windshield
front passenger fender has a dent
passenger door smaller dent
as this was a work truck paint is fading and has nicks here and there.

What do you guys think,should i go for it?
as i said before I'm not going to give it any heavy use,but I'm concerned about the 300,000 miles and the Christmas lights in the dash,the guy that is selling it hasn't have it for long as he received it as payment from a money that a guy owned him,and he is using the truck at the moment,i test drove it and it runs good considering the conditions.

It's worth taking it in to a shop for a mechanical check and quote on fixing it up. I would.

If you don't want to at least do that to see what your in for, walk away.
