1999 Sierra Gauge Cluster Problem

Hi all,
hope someone can help me on this problem i have been having. i have a 99 sierra 5.3l 4x4 with 220000 miles and all of a sudden my gauge cluster is going wacky. my battery light comes on sometimes and then some of the gauges fall to nothing. has anyone had this happen?? i have replaced alternator and check main grounds. any help would be great

Check your wire harness to your gauge and at most times it's the ignition switch it self if you have lots of keys on your key chain. Also check your Fuse box for corrosion under the hood, paying attention to the Gauge fuse for corrosion.
