Keep it simple and add a http://www.wynjammer.com/ALM1115/GM_S10_4_3__V6.html. There simple and easy to bolt on and you can have the same performance as a V8 without the issues of having your Jimmy out of service for more then 3 hours.

Try a intake manifold spacer and throttle body spacer. Worked well for me and later you can add the windjammer.
