Pain. You need to remove the steering wheel to do it. If you feel comfortable dealing with the airbag then go for it.
Turn your steering wheel 90* each way from straight so that you can access these little springs with a flatblade scerwdriver through the backside of the wheel. The you can gain access to the horn switch, remove it. Then using a steering wheel puller, remove the steering wheel. Also need to remove the tilt lever to tilt the wheel (just pull on it if I remember correctly and it will snap out and back in). Just keep diving in and removing crap till you can remove the switch and the wiring to disconnect it and replace the new one.
This is actually a pretty good project and might be better left to the stealer... excuse me, dealership
