i have a 2000 gmc sierra 4x4 with a 4.8L motor and it leans to the front drivers side
i checked it and it has about an inch difference in height compaired to the passenger front
the truck still leans foward too and the torsion key ajuster bolt istightened all the way on both side
and i want to change them so i can bring it to a level stance
does any one know why this is happening or how to fix the problem or what the problem even is

This problem is refered to as the "Chevy lean". Alot of Chevys and GMC from 1998 to 2008 have this problem. I have been told several causes such as heat treat problems on the frames at the factory also that these trucks were "chained" down improperly when transported to the dealerships. To my knowledge GM has not released info as to why they have this lean but they do have a so called fix. My 2006 Sierra had this 1 inch lean on front left and rear left. I took it to the dealer and they installed a shim on the left rear leaf spring and 2 longer ubolts to make up the difference with the spacer installed. The spacer is part # 15872655 and the ubolts are part# 15872657. Total for parts was $41.87 and labor was $132.00. This took out about half of the lean but for the $175.00 total bill I am still not happy with the results. If you have this installed have the headlights reaimed Goodluck
