start your truck... turn on your lights... wiggle wiring harness to see if lights flicker on and off (better done at night!) if no flickering occurs, check for loose fuse. fuses can arc out inside the fuse platform creating a gap in which the fuse can wiggle causeing flickering lights. if the lights are just dim, check to see if your alternater has an adjuster screw to increase or decrease output.
