2000 GMC Sonoma light issues...?

We have a 2000 GMC Sonoma and we have replaced all of the light bulbs in the back but when you have the truck in reverse the brake light on the left light does not work. The blinker for the left blinks more rapidly then the right. We have checked all of the fuses they are fine. Any suggestions?

Normally when a turn signal flashes faster than its supposed to it means you have one out. It could be the front or back. As for the brake light in the back it might be a short.

yeh you need to replace the bulb with an 1157 from napa or any parts store. that one is your brake and turn signal. the blinker is blinking faster because that one is burned out.

you might check and make sure you have the right bulbs because it sounds like you have single filaments where you need dual filaments
