Hey guys it's been a while because the Jimmy was running great until now!!!! My thermostat went on my Jimmy, just blowing cold air but she was running good, so I changed it. Took it off, NO PROB, put the new one on, NO PROB. put everything back together... BIG PROB!!!!! Now when I start the truck she runs for a second then dies???? she won't stay running, does anyone know what the problem could be???? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys.:confused::confused:

If there is no check engine light that comes on before the engine shuts down, there could be a good chance that your fuel filter is dirty and will need to be replaced.

Easy and inexpensive job for you to do, the fuel filter is located on the inside frame rail by the drivers door. I filter is connected by a quick connect so removing it from the fuel line is simple.

The other thing that you could do is clean your throttle body intake, make sure you clean it good and pay attention to the IAC valve passageway to ensure there is no carbon causing the valve to stick.

Good luck and keep us posted;)
