I have a 2000 GMC Jimmy which needs the ignition lock cylinder replaced. Unfortunately, someone tried to steal it at one point and jammed a screwdriver into the cylinder. The key still goes in the cylinder, but it does not turn it. All directions I have found tell me to turn the ignition to on in order to replace the cylinder. How do I replace the cylinder if I can not turn the ignition to on?
