hello, im new here. i have a 2000 sonoma with very high mileage 245k on it. it is the 4.3 v6. my head gasket is leaking onto my exaust manifold.
with my mileage should i just find a donor engine?
or change the head gaskets?
im afraid if i only change the gaskets, im sure my heads are worn, id probably need to machine them, then id need to rebuild the lower half.
i can get a donor 4.3 with 53k on it for 650. does that sound about right? im leaning towards this direction. unless anyone here has other ideas.
