2000 Sonoma Zr2 running weird

I have a question about my truck its been running very weird i really dont know what is going on with it. when i am driving it jumps rpms around 1200-1500 when not accelerating just keeping on the gas to stay goin it does this i cant think of a way that it would do this. if anyone knows whats going on with it please let me know thanks a bunch!

That was an initial symptom of my poppet valves sticking open. basically the fuel injectors. Soon after, I got an SES light and code indicating one of my cylinders had issues. hope this isn't your issue. Fix is to replace spider assy with an upgraded fuel injection system.
