2001 abs light flakey

I have a 2001 sonoma 2.2 and the abs comes on at any time is there any way to check out what senser is bad or could it be in master cyl.

I had kind of the same problem with my '97. Turns out it was the ABS cable came loose by the front rotor and got pinched between the A-arm and the frame. Did your speedo go out too? Re-positioning the cable took care of both my issues.
