I've recently purchased an 2001 GMC Jimmy. And I've been putting work into fixing it. A while back the previous owner hit a deer, and it damaged the front end of the vehicle, but not very badly (see picture.) So I was hoping to get it up and road legal as soon as possible. When I first started messing with it, a check engine light was showing up for the mass air flow sensor, which is fine, that I can replace easily.. But now I'm having multiple different codes showing up, one of which is P0443 / Evaporative Emission Control System Purge Control Valve Circuit Malfunction. Does anyone have any ideas as to what is causing this issue? What needs to be replaced to fix it? Or is it possible that its being thrown up because of my mass air flow sensor still needing to be replaced? Please and Thank you!!
