Hi, i have a 2001 GMC Sierra 1500 ext cab 4x4.
Alright so here's the problem.. it all started after givein her a good cleaning.. i was hosing the truck down and i had the pressure washer going around the starter as i was cleaning the mudd off around the wheels. Truck started when i was finished.. parked the truck at home the nextday it wont start.. bought a new battery truck started fine, Drove for 3 hours truck was fine.. wouldnt start up again. so i got my alternator rebuilt by a professional.. Replaced my new battery as it had a warranty on itt. and the truck still wont start.. my friend also got shocked by the starter as he was touchin it while i was tryin to start the truck.. any ideas?? anyone.. i dont know whats going on here lol i turn the key over and the lights will all stay on. And it does sound liek the starter is engaging properly.
